It's a myth man
Myth: On a Wi Fi Internet connection you can hook on and back track into somebody's computer.
Fact: Technically, most things are possible. But that's the same risk you have with a wired comps, so get a firewall and you're sorted. Unless you're sharing files between different computers on an unprotected wireless network, the chances of a direct hack are slim (unless you're doing something really illegal).
That said, there are still security vulnerabilities associated with using Wi Fi connections, and even big businesses are guilty of leaving their systems open for anybody to access.
