Where to report online abuse

Contacting the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT)

The VGT is an interactive unit of police officers who accept reports from the public about cases of online abuse involving youth. Any suspect encounters in chatrooms, on Instant Messenger, via e-mail or through the web can be reported to them directly.

    Contacting your local Police

You should contact the Police if you encounter any of the following: harassment, bullying, threats, confessions to crimes, racially based incitement to violence, fraud or blackmail.

Report Abuse to your Mobile phone network

We've put together a form that you can save as a word document. This form has all the information you need to report abuse received on your mobile phone. Open the WSC Mobile phone abuse log

Report Abuse to MSN

MSN terms and conditions clearly state what kinds of behaviour we will not tolerate on our services, and we can disable an account and/or remove any content that has been posted on MSN.

We can't stop people from creating new accounts, however, we can take action on accounts used by troublemakers if they are reported to us.

Please allow our support teams 48hours to respond to your inquiry.
